Refund Policy

Clear information about refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling for all FORGE Coaching services and products.

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from FORGE Coaching, including:

  • 1:1 Coaching packages
  • Workshops and training sessions
  • Digital products (PDFs, templates, downloads)
  • Online self-guided courses
  • Books (physical and digital)

This policy exists to ensure fairness to both you (the customer) and FORGE Coaching. We want to be transparent about what you can expect while also protecting the integrity of our services.

2. Coaching Packages (1:1 Coaching)

Refunds

Non-Refundable After First Session

Once the first coaching session has taken place, the coaching package is considered "in use" and becomes non-refundable. This is because the service has been delivered and coaching time has been allocated to you.

No Refunds for Missed Sessions

Refunds are not offered for sessions you miss or do not attend. You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions on time.

Punctuality Expected

Clients are expected to join sessions on time. Late arrivals do not extend the session duration.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

With 24+ Hours Notice

Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice, subject to availability. We understand life happens and will work with you to find a new time.

With Less Than 24 Hours Notice

Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be forfeited and counted as used. This protects the coach's time that was reserved for you.

Payment Plans

If you are using a payment plan, all remaining payments must still be completed, even if you decide to stop attending sessions.

Failure to complete payments may result in suspension of coaching services until the balance is settled.

By booking coaching with a payment plan, you agree to complete the full payment schedule as outlined in your agreement.

3. Workshops & Speaking/Training Sessions

For Individuals (Public Workshops)

Generally Non-Refundable

Workshop tickets are generally non-refundable once purchased. This is because workshops have limited capacity and tickets secure your reserved spot.

Transferable Tickets

In some cases, tickets may be transferable to another date or another person. Please contact us to discuss your options.

Workshop Cancelled by FORGE

If FORGE Coaching cancels a workshop, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date.

For Organisations (Clinicians, Universities, NHS, Corporate)

7 Days' Notice Required

A minimum of 7 days' notice is required to reschedule or cancel an organisational workshop or training session.

Non-Refundable Deposits

If a deposit is required to secure the booking, it is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

Late Cancellations

Late cancellations (less than 7 days) may incur a cancellation fee or result in loss of deposit, as time has been reserved and preparation work completed.

4. Digital Products

Digital products include PDFs, templates, worksheets, downloads, and other digital tools.

Non-Refundable Once Downloaded or Accessed

All digital products are non-refundable once access has been granted or files have been downloaded.

Why? Because digital content cannot be "returned" once you have received it. Once downloaded, you have permanent access to the material.

UK Digital Goods Regulations

This policy is in line with UK consumer law on digital content. When you purchase digital goods and begin downloading or accessing them, you waive your right to a cooling-off period (14-day cancellation right) as outlined in the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

5. Online Self-Guided Course

Non-Refundable

Once you have logged into the course platform or accessed any course modules, the course becomes non-refundable.

This is because you have begun consuming the digital content.

Refundable (Conditions Apply)

If you have not yet accessed the course at all, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.

This aligns with UK distance selling regulations.

Important Notes

  • Partial refunds are not offered. If you have accessed even one module, the entire course is considered used.
  • To request a refund (if eligible), email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase.
  • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days once approved.

6. Books

Paperback / Physical Books

Refunds Available If:

  • • Book arrives damaged or defective
  • • Wrong item was sent
  • • Book does not arrive at all

You must notify us within 7 days of receipt

You may need to return the book to receive a refund or replacement

E-books / Digital Books

Non-Refundable Once Downloaded

E-books and digital versions of books are non-refundable once downloaded, as they cannot be returned.

Please review the book description and preview (if available) before purchasing to ensure it meets your needs.

7. Technical Issues

We want to ensure you have full access to any products or courses you purchase. If you experience technical problems:

We'll Work to Resolve It

FORGE Coaching will make reasonable efforts to resolve technical issues promptly so you can access your purchased content.

Refund Only If Unresolvable

Technical problems alone do not automatically qualify for a refund unless we cannot restore your access after reasonable troubleshooting efforts.

Note: User-side technical issues (poor internet connection, outdated browser, device incompatibility) do not qualify for refunds. We will still help troubleshoot where possible.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that life can be unpredictable. In rare or compassionate circumstances, FORGE Coaching may consider refund or rescheduling requests at its discretion.

Examples of Exceptional Circumstances:

  • • Serious illness or medical emergency
  • • Bereavement or family emergency
  • • Unforeseen crisis situations

9. Chargebacks

Contact Us First

If you have any concerns about a purchase or believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact FORGE Coaching directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider.

Why contact us first?

  • We can often resolve issues much faster than a chargeback process
  • Open communication helps us understand and address your concerns
  • We're committed to finding fair solutions

Consequences of Unauthorised Chargebacks:

  • • Immediate suspension of access to all services and products
  • • Possible legal action for fraudulent chargebacks
  • • Permanent ban from future purchases or services

We take payment disputes seriously and will work with payment processors and legal authorities if necessary to resolve fraudulent claims.
